Merci Chouchou !!

The band was out and about a great deal in the last few weeks. And in doing so got to places no band member had ever been to before. There was a lot to discover and marvel at. Therefore, there's also a lot to tell...

Rockoon: You're done with the concerts in France as well as Italy. Moreover, you've been to Russia for the very first time. How was it?

Shin: "Хороший" [= "good"]. To me, it was a completely different world, but maybe that was only due to the strange script that's in use there! A very impressive country!
Yu: It was great! I particularly remember Paris and Riga because I liked the stages and halls there most and had the most fun there. We've been to many interesting clubs. From deluxe catering to candlelight dinner... a few small crawling creatures included... There was a lot to be seen, even if only very shortly from the train or the car. It was amazing.
Strify: Paris is one of my favourite cities, I love being there. Milano was exciting as well. Russia is a lot different from all the other countries in Europe.
Shin: It was all very exciting – I always dreamed of giving concerts in Russia; and now this dream came true and I have to say that I love Russia. I took an immediate liking of Moscow and Saint Petersburg in particular!

Towns like Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Krasnodar were part of your tour schedule. Krasnodar is 1'500 kilometres to the south of Moscow. Weren't these distances extremely long and you could respectively had to experience by yourselves how incredibly big this country is...?

Shin: Yes, incredibly big... Guess I've never completed that many kilometres in such a short space of time in my life before.
Yu: As we had to had to drive for more than 22 hours to get from Krasnodar to Moscow, we realised how big it really is. (laughs) We lovingly called it "Mordor", as in Lord of the Rings, since it looked so empty most of the time and therefore reminded us of Mordor somehow. It must be a strange feeling to live in such a big country.
Strify: Some people in our crew are really scared of flying, that's why we agreed to a compromise and took the train too. Once, we were on the train for 22 hours and what we saw outside the window strongly reminded us of Mordor. For hours, there wasn't anything to see but trees, and there were only six villages that had train stops.
Kiro: We took the train for the 22 hours journey from Krasnodar to Moscow, that was a whole new experience to us indeed, the country is huge! On the train, we slept most of the time or drank Russian Vodka. (laughs)

You always get to hear horror stories about domestic flights there. The airports are said to be out of date, and the same apparently applies to most of the planes. What experience did you make?

Kiro: That's the reason why we took the train since I am scared of flying myself... And when people tell me such stories, I am even more scared to board a plane than I usually am!
Strify: The airport in Moscow was very big and modern. Other than that we only saw the small one in Krasnodar since we did not use the air routes about which we heard stories that made us feel uneasy. The plane we boarded was as good as all the other planes we usually fly with.
Shin: That's why we only flew once in this country... We were lucky to have chosen an airline that was pretty much okay. The airport in Moscow was great.
Yu: I found it quite okay even if prop airliners can scare the shit out of you and are pretty loud. Most of the time I try to sleep during flights anyway because I get a migraine if I don't and things get unbearable; that's also a way to not pay too much attention to the plane.

And what about sanitary facilities? Were they acceptable for our liking?

Strify: I can say that things are not how people imagine them to be, Russia and Moscow in particular are very western by now.
Kiro: Kinda odd at times, but there are beautiful and less beautiful places and buildings, just like everywhere else!
Yu: So-so. As a man you're lucky to not necessarily have to sit down. As long as there is soap, everything is okay most of the time, but as soon as even the soap is gone, things get critical. (grins)

What do you remember first when you think of Krasnodar?

Kiro: Loads of colourful advertising posters. (laughs)
Yu: The many colourful lights and ads! I even saw a church that was illuminated and decorated like a fun fair in Germany! Totally crazy. (laughs)
Shin: Many fans at the airport and a TV team and a small Korean coach in which we were driven around.
Strify: The airport. And everything else. We never had to deal with paparazzi and the likes before, but now I know how it feels. We arrived – the airport had a coach terminal-feel about it, at least in terms of its size – and there were about 50 girls and a camera crew waiting. We were pretty tired after the journey and were persecuted the whole time.

And how was the show there?

Strify: The stage was very big and the people in the audience were really crazy. They had so much energy and sparkles in their eyes.
Shin: Great! The hall was very big and there were seats for those who couldn't stand standing for so long. (laughs)
Kiro: It was great, the stage was huge! It was our first concert in Russia and we noticed how very welcome we were.
Yu: We had a tight schedule that day which normally lead to the situation to become hectic. Other than that, the pieces of equipment we borrowed for the stage were a little... well, little... We rocked the hall anyway, it was plain nuts in Krasnodar. (laughs)

Isn't it cool that your songs are so well-known in the middle of, sorry, "nowhere"?

Yu: In Mordor! (laughs) Yes, it's really cool that our music is so widespread; I think it's quite amazing that it reaches so far, always further, please!
Shin: It's a really cool feeling to play in a strange country and everybody can sing along.
Kiro: That's something I thought about before, it's really incredible what happened so far! I am looking forward to the future!
Strify: It's indeed incredible what can happen in just one year. Three years ago I still went to school, and now I play sold-out shows in clubs at the end of the world. That's another reason why you should never lose hope.

Two days later you went to Moscow. An exciting place, isn't it? What did you get to see of it?

Kiro: I love Moscow!!! It's a lot like Berlin, only much bigger! We arrived at the station by night and all the lights and buildings were so impressive!!!
Yu: We got to see the Kreml and the Red Square and a monkey in a red jacket and we took part in a cool sight-seeing tour.
Strify: Moscow is an incredible place. The architecture is amazing. We naturally went to see the big square. You can picture Moscow like Berlin – times ten. The streets, the buildings – everything is bigger! There are areas with tower blocks that look like Marzahn, and streets that remind you of the Frankfurter Allee – the wonderful vibes of decadence are everywhere. What seemed great to me were the so-called Seven Sisters buildings. However... In one street, you see poor people begging, and just around the corner there's a deluxe department store – it's incredible that most of the world's billionaires live in Russia if you come across so much poverty.
Shin: Traffic jams... traffic jams everywhere, big impressive buildings that are illuminated at night. (grins)

And what left the most impressive impression?

Yu: That it's possible that 500 meters by car can take more than half an hour...
Kiro: Living in this place, the many lights... everything. (laughs)
Shin: What impressed me a lot was the whole package... how bit this place is, the buildings, the people...

And what was the show in Moscow like?

Yu: It was great! The stage looked amazing, and because Moscow was so awesome, we held our "Moscow Bizarre" DJ set at the same club again two days later...
Kiro: Since I had been looking forward to Moscow since forever, I was very nervous, but all this was gone when we went on stage! It was an amazing concert, the fans took part in it and sang along, that was wonderful!
Strify: My highlight was when we played the Russian version of t.A.T.u.'s Not Gonna Get Us and the audience went crazy.
Shin: The atmosphere in Moscow was great. The fans rocked and took part in our show.

A day later, you were in Saint Petersburg already. What did you like in particular about it?

Strify: Saint Petersburg is a lot cleaner than Moscow and really worth visiting. I recognised many places from an old Pierce Brosnan-Bond. A wonderful city.
Kiro: The city in general, particularly beautiful by night with all the lights decorating bridges and towers! It's very neat and tidy there, the traffic wasn't near as overwhelming as in Moscow too!
Shin: The food and the city. We had Sushi before the concert; otherwise, we have a certain person with a fondness of Pizza, and since this food is easy to get, we had to eat it often enough... tasted quite fine most of the time though.

And how was the show in this place different from the one in Moscow and Krasnodar?

Kiro: The backstage area was situated next to the stage, that's something we never had before! In other respects, the concert was great too! During the show, a huge lollipop was thrown onto the stage, it was truly huge!!! That was pretty much fun!
Shin: The club was of a pretty flat build, and there was this nice spotlight right above my drum set that I could have smashed anytime... but then I would definitely have burns in my face now. (laughs) Also during this show the atmosphere was unique and cool.

To what extent did you see and experience significant differences between the three places?

Strify: Krasnodar wasn't as western as Moscow and Saint Petersburg and looked like a village situated on a huge area. Moscow is incredibly decadent and ostentatious. Saint Petersburg is clean and reminds of Stockholm a little because of all the rivers and boats.
Kiro: You can always see differences; I fell in love with Moscow because I like Berlin a lot as well and Moscow sort of seems to be a much bigger version of Berlin! What all the three places have in common though is how nicely people welcomed us. (laughs)
Shin: They really are three different places indeed... From how the cities are built to how the people behave.

And which one did you like best?

Kiro: Hard to tell, Moscow was pretty cool though!
Strify: I didn't get to see enough of these places to decide.
Shin: Moscow, this place impressed me most because everything is so incredibly big.

How was the food in Russia? Do you have particularly good or particularly bad memories?

Strify: Yes, both of them. At the venue in Moscow, the food was incredibly good, for example, and there was a wide range of it. But now matter how the food was – the vodka was always good.
Kiro: So-so; the food at the hotels wasn't that good and the range of food was rather poor! Apart from that, we had truly wonderful Sushi at Saint Petersburg, that was really very very delicious.
Shin: The food was pretty much the same as in Germany, there was a lot of local food too of course.

You've been to so many places in Europe now. Which places would you most love to see next?

Strify: I've often been to London and would love to play there. Other than that, New York is on top of my list, followed by Tokyo.
Kiro: I'm looking forward to Rome in December.
Shin: New York and Tokyo... Think that both these cities are of a huge, unique nature.
Yu: New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, all the world's big cities! I would love to travel the whole world.

As you revealed only recently, your next album will be called toyZ. How did you come up with this title?

Shin: Because Strify is a toyboy. (laughs) He came up with the name together with Yu.
Strify: We will tell you more about this as soon as the album is released... We don't want to reveal everything yet.
Kiro: The idea with toyZ was there out of the blue and we liked it right away as regards the content. (laughs) And it's totally fitting! We will soon reveal more regarding the album title and the idea behind it.
Yu: toyZ are everywhere! We grow up with many different kinds of toys, and they shape us more than we might be aware of at first. The title just fit and we will soon reveal the concept of toyZ... (grins)

But before you can go on with working on the new album, there's 24.12. and 25.12. - what do you wish for for these two days?

Strify: In the last years, I associated Christmas with stress.
Kiro: I am looking forward to nice days with my family and friends and to eating good food. (laughs)
Shin: A lot of strength and support from my parents and friends.
Yu: Snow! Finally Christmas with a lot of snow, building snow men, snowball fights... and so on.

On 26.12. and 27.12. you will celebrate Christmas à la Cinema Bizarre?

Kiro: That's it. I'm looking forward to both concerts and slowly start getting in the mood for Christmas, there's no way to escape Christmas from the beginning of September on anyway...
Shin: I'm really looking forward a lot to both these concerts in order to show our German fans the experience we gained on the stages throughout Europe.
Yu: Definitely! We will present our German fans with two great concerts in Bochum and Hamburg to conclude this year. We did not forget you in spite of the many concerts abroad, so bring all your friends along!

Kiro: My tattoo means 'trust'. Always trust in myslef ;D

Kiro: I like russia not only because of tatu, I really like the language and the way of living! The first time I saw moscow I was so impressed and just fall in love with this city!

Kiro: Of courese, yes! It's too early for having a family so I don't really think about it for now, I have enough time for it! First of all my career is the mist important for me!

Kiro: When you have the passion and the lve for music then everything is on the best way! Follow your heart!

8. What do you think when French fans , russian fans , Italian fans ... speak with you in german and not in English ?
Kiro: It's very cute! Sometimes there are some mistakes in it, but it's so cuuuuute ;D really!

9. If you had 3 wishes, what would you ask for? (Ich xD )
Kiro: It always changes, but for now, this are my 3 wishes for the cold seasons:
1. Holidays in the sun
2. lying in the sun with an cocktail ( sex-on-the-beach ;D)

Kiro: It's really funny to see when they're writing german, sometimes it's very amusing because sometimes there are some mistakes, but this make it more funny ;D

Kiro: I like do to noodles with nice sauce and soop!

Kiro: I like everywhere but the highlight for me was russia of course ;D but I also really like Finland and France!

Kiro: C'est difficile de me décrire ... Vous devriez demander aux autres pour ça ;D Je peux donc vous dire que je suis très poli et je pense que je suis créatif , j'aime vraiment dessiner par exemple!

Kiro: Non , je ne crois pas, mais voyons ce que l'avenir nous dira ;D

6. As-tu déjà pensé à fonder ta propre famille? Le veux-tu ? Peux-tu t'imaginer dans un rôle de mari ou de père?))) (Marika – Russia)
Kiro: Bien sûr que oui! C'est trop tôt pour fonder une famille donc je n'y pense pas vraiment pour l'instant, j'ai assez de temps pour ça! Avant tout c'est ma carrière qui est la plus importante pour moi!

7. As-tu quelques conseils pour ceux qui commencent seulement à être musiciens? (Marika – Russia)
Kiro: Quand tu as la passion et l'amour de la musique , alors tout est sur la bonne voie! Suivez votre coeur!

8. Que penses-tu quand des fans Français , Russes , Italiens ... te parlent en Allemand et pas en Anglais ?
Kiro: C'est très mignon ! Parfois il y a quelques erreurs , mais c'est si mignoooooooooon ;D vraiment!

9.Si tu pouvais faire 3 voeux , que demanderais-tu ? (Ich xD )
Kiro: ça change tout le temps , mais là , j'ai 3 voeux pour les froides saisons :
1. Des vacances au soleil

Kiro: C'est vraiment marrant de voir qu'elles sont écrites en Allemand , parfois c'est très amusant car il y a quelques fautes , mais ça les rends encore plus marrantes;D

Kiro: Je ne me souviens pas d'une chose en particulier;D

Kiro: Ce n'est pas grave, je donnerais de la merde quand les gens écriront des trucs de merde... Je ris juste de voir combien ils sont stupides, pas besoin de perdre mon temps pour de telles personnes!

16. Quel plat aimes-tu préparer? (Jane)
Kiro: J'aime faire des nouilles avec de la bonne sauce et de la soupe!

17. Quel pays as-tu préféré lors du Final Attraction Tour?
Kiro: J'aime tous les endroits mais le point culminant pour moi a été la Russie bien sûr ;D Mais j'ai aussi aimé la Finlande et la France!

Yu: Fort , accro au coca-vanille , joueur de jeux vidéos ;D
Strify: Il parle beaucoup (parfois beaucoup trop XD), il raconte la même chose 4 fois ou plus ;D, party-bitch ;D
Shin: calme, parfois vraiment ennuyant , une personne marrante
Luminor: mélancolique, très poli, fumes beaucoup

19. De quel instrument peux-tu jouer à part la basse?
Kiro:Je peux jouer de la basse et j'aime jouer avec le clavier !

Kiro: Je n'attends rien , je laisse juste les choses arriver et voir ce qu'il se passe ;D

Shin: "Хороший" [= "Bien"]. Pour moi , c'était un monde totalement différent, mais peut-être que c'était seulement dû aux étranges manuscrits ( écriture cyrilique) qu'ils utilisent là-bas! Un pays très impressionnant !
Yu: C'était génial ! Je me souviens particulièrement de Paris et Riga parce que j'ai le plus aimé les scènes et les salles et me suis le plus amusé là-bas. Nous sommes allés dans pleins de clubs intérressants. De la restauration de luxe à la lumière des chandelles... quelques petites créatures rampantes incluses... Il y a eu beaucoup à voir, même si nous avons eu peu de temps du train à la voiture.C'était incroyable.
Strify: Paris est l'une des mes villes préférées,j'aime être là-bas. Milan était excitant aussi. La Russie est très différente des autres pays d'Europe.
Shin:Tout était très excitant- J'ai toujours rêvé de donner des concerts en Russie ; et maintenant ce rêve est devenu réalité et je dois dire que j'aime la Russie . J'ai immédiatemment pris en affection Moscou et ST. Petersbourg en particulier!

Les villes comme Moscou, Saint Petersbourg et Krasnodar faisaient partiesde la programmation de votre tournée. Krasnodar est à 1'500 kilometres au sud de Moscou. Ces distances ne sont-elles pas extrêmement longues et vous avez eu l'experience par vous-mêmes de voir combien ce pays est grand...?

Shin: Oui , incroyablement grand... Je suppose que je n'ai jamais parcouru autant de kilomètres en si peu de temps dans ma vie avant.
Yu: Quand nous avons dû conduire plus de 22 heures pour aller de Krasnodar à Moscou, nous avons réalisé quelle grand pays c'était vraiment. (rires) Nous l'avons appelé avec amour "Mordor", comme dans le Seigneur des anneaux, depuis ça a l'air si vide la plupart du temps et donc nous a rappelé Mordor d'une certaine façon . Ça doit être un sentiment étrange de vivre dans un si grand pays.
Strify: Certaines personnes de notre équipe sont vraiment effrayé par l'avion , c'est pourquoi nous avons acceptés un compromis et pris le train également.Une fois , nous étions dans le train pour 22 heures et ce que nous avons vu dehors à la fenêtre nous a fortement rappelé Mordor. Pendant des heures , il n'y avait rien à voir à part des arbres , il y a eu seulement 6 villages où le train s'est arrêté.
Kiro: Nous avons pris le train pendant 22 heures pour aller de Krasnodar à Moscou, c'était une toute nouvelle expérience pour nous effectivement, le pays est énorme ! Dans le train , nous avons dormi la plupart du temps ou bu de la Vodka Russe . (rires)

Vous finissez toujours par entendre des histoires d'horreur à propos des vols commerciaux.Les aéroports sont dits vétustes , et apparemment cela s'applique aussi à la plupart des avions. Quelle expérience en avez-vous ?

Kiro: C'est la raison pour laquelle nous prenons le train comme j'ai moi-même peur de voler... Et quand on me raconte de telles histoires, je suis encore plus effrayé que d'habitude de prendre l'avion !
Strify: L'aéroport de Moscou était très grand et moderne. À part celui-là nous avons seulement vu le petit aéroport de Krasnodar , depuis nous n'utilisons plus les trajets aériens à propos desquels nous avons entendu des histoires qui nous mettent mal à l'aise. L'avion dans lequel nous avons embarqué était aussi bien que tous les autres avions avec lesquels nous volons d'habitude.
Shin: C'est pourquoi nous n'avons volé qu'une seule fois dans ce pays ... Nous avons été chanceux d'avoir choisi une compagnie aérienne qui était pas mal.L'aéroport de Moscou était génial.
Yu: Je l'ai trouvé plutôt bien même si les avions de ligne peuvent t'effrayer comme pas permis et sont assez grands. La plupart du temps j'ai essayé de dormir pendants les vols en tout cas parce que j'ai eu une migraine et si je ne dors pas les choses deviennent insupportables ; c'est aussi un moyen de ne pas trop faire attention à l'avion.

Et à propos des équipements sanitaires ? Etaient-ils acceptables à votre goût ?

Strify:Je peux dire que les choses ne sont pas comme les gens imaginent qu'elles sont , la Russie et Moscou en particulier sont très occidentaux à ce jour.
Kiro: Un peu étrange par moment , mais il y a de beaux et de moins beaux endroits et immeubles , comme n'importe où !
Yu: Donc-donc. En tant qu'homme vous avez de la chance de ne pas avoir à vous asseoir. Aussi longtemps qu'il y a du savon , tout es ok la plupart du temps , mais dès qu'il n'y en a plus , les choses deviennent critiques.(sourires)

Quelle est la première chose dont vous vous souvenez quand vous pensez à Krasnodar?

Kiro: Chargé d'affiches publicitaires colorées. (rires)
Yu: Beaucoups de lumières colorées et les pubs ! J'ai également vu une église qui était illuminée et décorée comme une foire amusante en Allemagne ! Totallement fou. (rires)
Shin: Beaucoup de fans à l'aéroport et une équipe de télévision et -a small Korean coach in which we were driven around.- ( pour moi ça ne veut rien dire -_-' )
Strify: L'aéroport. Et tout autre chose.Nous n'avons jamais eu à nous occuper des paparazzi et de choses sembables auparavant,mais maintenant je sais ce que ça fait.– l'aéroport avait un terminal-pensez à cela, au moins en terme de taille – et il y avait à peu près 50 filles et une équipe de caméras qui attendaient. Nous étions bien fatigués après le voyage et étions persécutés tout le temps.

Et comment était le concert là-bas ?

Strify: La scène était très grande et le public était vraiment fou.Ils avaient tant d'energie et d'étincelles dans les yeux.
Shin: Génial! La salle était très grande et il y avait des sièges pour ceux qui ne pouvaient pas tenir debout trop longtemps.(rires)
Kiro: C'était génial, la scène était énorme! C'était notre premier concert en Russie et nous avons remarqué combien nous étions les bienvenus.
Yu: Nous avons eu un programme serré ce jour , ce qui normalement cause une situation agitée. À part ça , les pièces d'équipement que nous avons apporté pour la scène étaient un peu... bon , un peu... Nous avons rocké la salle en tout cas , c'était une plaine de noix à Krasnodar. (rires) ( sûrement une expression allemande qui m'échappe -_-' )

N'est-ce pas cool que vos chansons soient si bien connues au mileu de , désolé , « nulle part »?

Yu: à Mordor! (rires) Oui , c'est vraiment cool que notre musique soit si étendue ; Je pense que c'est tout à fait stupéfiant que ça arrive si loin, toujours plus , s'il vous plait !
Shin: C'est un sentiment vraiment cool de jouer dans un pays étrange et tout le monde peut chanter tout du long.
Kiro: C'est quelque chose à laquelle j'ai pensé avant , c'est vraiment incroyable ce qui arrive si loin ! J'attends l'avenir avec impatience !
Strify: C'est effectivement incroyable ce qui a pu arriver juste en un an.Il y a 3 ans j'allais encore à l'école , et maintenant je joue à guichets fermés dans des clubs du bout du monde. C'est une autre raison pour laquelle il ne faut jamais perdre espoir.

Deux jours plus tard vous alliez à Moscou. Un endroit excitant , n'est-ce pas ?Qu'avez-vous pû en voir ?

Kiro: J'aime Moscou!!! ça ressemble beucoup à Berlin , seulement en beaucoup plus grand !Nous sommes arrivés à la gare pendant la nuit et toute les lumières et immeubles étaient si impressionnants !!!
Yu: Nous avons vu le Kremlin et la place Rouge et un singe en veste rouge et nous avons pris part à une agréable visite touristique.
Strify: Moscou est un endroit incroyable. . L'architecture est stupéfiante.Nous sommes naturellement allés voir le grand parc. Vous pouvez représenter Moscou comme Berlin – fois 10.Les rues , les immeubles – tout est plus grand! Il y a des quartiers avec des blocs de tours qui ressemblent à Marzahn (quartier de Berlin), et des rues qui te rappellent l'allée de Francfort –les magnifiques vibrations de la décadence sont partout. Ce qui me semblait génial c'était les soit-disants immeubles des 7 soeurs.Pourtant... Dans une rue , tu vois de pauvres gens mendier, et juste au coin il y a un magasin de luxe – c'est incroyable que la plupart des milliardaires vivent en Russie quand vous vous trouvez autour de tant de pauvreté.
Shin: Les embouteillages... des embouteillages partout,de gros immeubles impressionnants qui sont illuminés la nuit.(sourires)

Et qu'est-ce qui vous a laissé la plus impressionnante impression ?

Yu: Que c'est impossible que 500 metres en voiture puisse prendre plus d'une demi-heure...
Kiro: Vivre dans cet endroit , les nombreuses lumières... tout. (rires)
Shin: Ce qui m'a beaucoup impressionné c'était le tout ... comme cet endroit est grand , les immeubles , les gens...

Et comment était le concert à Moscou ?

Yu: C'était génial ! La scène semblait stupéfiante , et parce que Moscou était si impresionnante , nous avons tenu notre "Moscow Bizarre" DJ set dans la même salle 2 jours plus tard...
Kiro:J'attendais impatiemment d'aller à Moscou depuis toujours , j'étais très nerveux , mais tout est parti quand nous sommes allés sur scène! C'était un concert stupéfiant , les fans y ont pris part et chanté tout du long , c'était magnifique !
Strify: Mon point culminant a été quand nous avons joué la version Russe de t.A.T.u.'s Not Gonna Get Us et le public est devenu fou.
Shin: L'atmosphère à Moscou était géniale. Les fans ont rocké et pris part à notre show.

Un jour plus tard , vous étiez déjà à Saint Petersbourg . Qu' avez-vous particulièrement aimé à propos de cette ville ?

Strify: Saint Petersbourg est un peu plus propre que Moscou et vraiment intéressante à visiter.J'ai reconnu beaucoup d'endroits d'un vieux James Bond avec Pierce Brosnan. Une ville merveilleuse.
Kiro: La ville en général , particulièrement belle la nuit avec toutes les lumières décorants les ponts et les tours ! C'est très net et bien arrangé là-bas, la circulation n'était pas aussi écrasante qu'à Moscou !
Shin: La nourriture et la ville.Nous avons eu de sushis avant le concert ; autrement, nous avons une certaine personne avec une tendresse pour les pizzas, et comme ces aliments sont faciles à avoir , nous en avons mangé assez souvent... tout avait bon goût la plupart du temps.

Et comment était le show dans ces différents endroits, de celui de Moscou à Krasnodar ?

Kiro: Les coulisses étaient situées à coté de la scène , c'est quelque chose que nous n'avions jamais eu ! à d'autres égards, le concert était également génial! Pendant le show , une énorme sucette à été lancée sur la scène ,elle était vraiment énorme !!! C'était trop marrant !
Shin: Le club était une construction assez plate , et il y avait des jolis projecteurs directement au-dessus de ma batterie que je pourrais avoir heurté n'importe quand… mais alors j'aurais sans doute le visage brûlé maintenant. (rires) Et aussi pendant ce show l'atmosphère était unique et cool .

Dans quelle mesure avez-vous vu et remarqué des différences significatives entre ces 3 endroits ?

Strify: Krasnodar n'était pas aussi occidental que Moscou et Saint Petersbourg , et ressemblait à un village situé dans une énorme région. Moscou est incroyablement décadente et obstentatoire. Saint Petersbourg est propre et me rappelle un peu Stockholm à cause des fleuves et bateaux.
Kiro: Tu peux toujours voir des différences ; je suis tombé amoureux de Moscou parce que j'aime aussi beaucoup Berlin et une sorte de Moscou paraît être une plus grosse version de Berlin !Ce que les 3 endroits ont en commun c'est la façon dont les gens nous ont gentillement acceuillis.(rires)
Shin: Ce sont effectivement 3 endroits différents... De la façon dont les villes sont construites à la façon dont les gens se comportent.

Et laquelle préferez-vous ?

Kiro: Dur à dire , Moscou était assez cool cependant!
Strify: Je n'ai pas vu assez ,de ces 3 endroits ,pour décider.
Shin: Moscou, cet endroit m'a beaucoup impressionné car tout y est incroyablement grand.

Comment était la nourriture en Russie ?En avez-vous un souvenir particulièrement bon ou mauvais ?

Strify: Oui , un peu des deux. Au lieu de rendez-vous à Moscou , la nourriture était incroyablement bonne par exemple, et il y en avait une large gamme. Mais comment était la nourriture n'a pas d'importance – la vodka était toujours bonne.
Kiro: Donc-donc; la nourriture des hotels n'était pas que bonne et la variété des aliments était assez pauvre ! A part cela , nous avons eu de magnifiques sushis à Saint Petersbourg, c'était vraiment très très bon.
Shin: La nourriture était presque la même qu'en Allemagne , il y avait également beaucoup de nourriture locale bien sûr.

Vous êtes allés dans tellement d'endroits en Europe maintenant.Dans quels endroits aimeriez-vous le plus aller la prochaine fois ?
Strify: Je suis souvent allé à Londres et j'aimerais y jouer.Par ailleurs , New York est en haut de ma liste , suivi de Tokyo.
Kiro:J'attends impatiemment Rome en Decembre.
Shin: New York et Tokyo... Je pense que ces deux villes sont d'un énorme , d'une nature unique.
Yu: New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, toutes les grandes villes du monde! J'aimerais voyager dans le monde entier.

Comme vous l'avez récemment révélé , votre prochain album s'appellera toyZ. Comment avez-vous trouvé ce titre ?

Shin: Parce que Strify est un homme-objet.(toy-boy) (rires) Il a trouvé le nom , ensemble , avec Yu.
Strify: Nous vous en dirons plus dès que l'album sera realisé...Nous ne voulons rien révéler encore .
Kiro: L'idée avec Toyz était là comme une bombe et nous en avons tout de suite aimé le contenu (rires) Et ça s'adapte complètement! Nous en révèlerons bientôt plus concernant le titre de l'album et de ce qui se cache derrière.
Yu: Les jouets (toyZ) sont partout! Nous avons grandis avec toutes sortes de jouets , et ils nous conditionnent bien plus que nous en avons concsience au début . Le titre s'adapte juste et nous révèlerons bientôt le concept de toyZ... (sourires)

Avant que vous puissiez aller travailler sur le nouvel album, il y a les 24.12. et 25.12. - que souhaitez-vous pour ces 2 jours ?

Strify: Les années précédentes, j'ai assoccié Noël avec le stress.
Kiro: J'attends avec impatience ces 2 agréables journées avec ma familles et mes amis et de manger de la bonne nourriture . (rires)
Shin: Beaucoup de force et de soutien de mes parents et amis.
Yu: De la neige! Finallement Noël avec beaucoup de neige , des bonhommes de neiges, des batailles de neiges... ect

Les 26.12. et 27.12. vous celebrerez Noël à la Cinema Bizarre?

Kiro: C'est ça. J'attends avec impatience les 2 concerts et commencer lentement à entrer dans l'esprit de Noël,il n'y a aucun moyen d'échapper à Noël à partir de début Septembre en tout cas...
Shin: J'attends avec beaucoup d'impatience ces 2 concerts pour montrer à nos fans allemands l'expérience que nous avons gagnée sur les scènes à travers l'Europe.
Yu: Sans doute! Nous nous présenterons devant nos fans Allemands avec 2 formidables concerts à Bochum et Hambourg pour conclure cette année. Nous ne vous avons pas oubliés malgré les nombreux concerts à l'étranger , donc amenez tous vos amis !

I also wrote a short translation of the article in English.It's not very good, I would apretiate if anyone will correct my mistakes. It's not the exact translation but I think it's good that also the fans that don't understand German know something about the article.

How sick is Lu actualy?

The article talks about Luminor leaving Cinema Bizarre. It says he left the band for saving his life.

It says that many fans have sent messages to CB's myspace acount and called the management.

Noone knew anything what is Luminor's secret illness till now. He was sleeping and was tired all the time and had to call of many performances. Keybearder Romeo had to replace him often. With madical and pshichological help he started taking medicine and he was feeling better in autumn. But at the end of november he broke-down-he was at the end and his health and life were in danger. He left Cinema Bizarre.

Many people thought it's becouse of the Burn-out-syndrom, but the real reason is in his personality and hardlife in the past. The article says he was depressive and even had thoughts about suicide and even caused pain to himself with cutting.

As a teenager he was sensible, introverted, he was molested and allowed noone to get close. He was in his own world, living his own fantasies. He was hiding his fears. The make-up that he's wearing since school is there to hide his soul problems. Also in Cinema Bizarre he often moved to the site. An insider: ''Luminor is total gaga. He lives on his own planets. No wonder that he's like that now.''

The separation was hard for Strify, Kiro, Yu and Shin. At the time they had the big east-tour and started to record the new album. Yu said it just coudln't end any other way.

And how will Cinema Bizarre continue? The boys are not sure if they should continue as four, or if they should find a new member. ''We need a keyboearder for presenting our songs live,'' says Shin. The decision will be made till the end of January. In February the new CB-single wil come out and in march the album ''toyz''. ''At the beginning of the year we're having a tour in Europe, then we're going to Canda, Mexico and America.'' Luminor won't be there. Strify: ''We'll miss him! We wish him health and that he finds himself again.''

Ah ben putain !! Ils y vont pas de main morte avec Luminor....

Heureusement que Luminor a dit qu'ils nous expliquerait la raison de son départ...

Sachez qu'il fait poursuivre en justice certains journaux pour diffamation...

Stayed in bed, ill. -.- It's been years since I had such a bad cold and I kept lying about ailing until shortly after New Year's Day.

I came to the conclusion that I'm in too much action on stage and that I'm not one to have a quiet private like either which would both lead to too much friction which would again lead to infections every month. ;D

Not really, but I try not to read them in order not to remember what's been written and not to have expectations accordingly. ;D

I would love to have a look at the past and check what's been going on, there's a lot I've already forgotten after all, but I wouldn't want to change it.

What made you become a massager and would you like to carry out that job again?
It seemed appropriate back then and with my grades I did not really have much of a choice. ^^ Furthermore, it doesn't do no harm to know a lot about the human body, to be able to massage and to learn more about diseases, etc. But I don't fancy doing it again. ^^

If you became a father one day, would you take a parental leave?
I think there wouldn't be enough time for that as long as I'm in the band. ;D But I don't plan to have children when I already know that I couldn't be there for them and care for them during the most important period of their life.

I've looked at many translations and made sense of some parts myself and I also understand a lot.

ça semblait approprié alors et avec mes qualités je n'avais pas vraiment beaucoup de choix. ^^ En outre,ça ne fait aucun mal d'en connaître plus sur le corps humain , pour être capable de masser et d'apprendre plus à propos des maladies, etc. Mais je ne m'imagine pas recommencer ça de nouveau. ^^

Si un jour tu devenais père , prendrais-tu un congé parental ?
Je pense qu'il n'y aurait pas assez de temps pour ça aussi longtemps que je serais dans le groupe. ;D Mais je n'ai pas prévu d'avoir des enfants alors que je sais déjà que je ne pourrais pas être là pour eux et m'occuper d'eux pendant la période la plus importante de leur vie.

Their new album is eagerly anticipated. In this issue, the four friendly boys tell us what they did other than working at the studio. Furthermore, they give a little review of last year as well as...

Rockoon: What was our New Year's Eve like? What did you do?
Strify: Some scenes: I chucked champagne in a female friend's face, tossed my hair about like the girls in films or music videos do, we sang ABBA, chopped shirts up in order to make Chippendales collars, were at a club where my favourite drag queen worked as DJane for the night, and eventually, we went to sleep...
Kiro: We had a really cool party at a good friend's place and moved on to a club afterwards! It's always a highlight to celebrate New Year's Eve in Berlin, I think; it's just breathtakingly beautiful!
Yu: I was at my parents' together with friends and Romeo, I had quite a bad cold ever since my birthday though which forced me to stay in bed the whole day. At midnight, I looked at the fireworks for a moment, but wasn't really capable of doing anything more. (laughs)
Shin: I spent New Year's Eve together with Strify and Kiro and very good friends for the first time. Celebrating New Year's Eve with them was really fun. Because I don't like firecrackers and rockets, I did without setting off fireworks yet another time!

And what was January 1st like?
Yu: More or less the same as December 31st. However, I was as fit as a fiddle again on January 2nd and went to do some serious shopping and spent a lot of time with my friends and Romeo.
Strify: I think it wasn't much different than the 2nd and the 3rd – probably apart from sleeping a bit more because I didn't end up in bed before sometime in the morning.
Kiro: Erm...I recovered from the night before so to say. (laughs)
Shin: Sleeping late...and waking up sometime to realise that it's January 2nd already.

And in addition to certainly cool things you wish for: What are your great plans for the year 2009 – other than finishing the new album and playing numerous concerts?
Strify: Alas, I will start from scratch... The ultimate goal is to make a little bit of Pop history and to leave a mark. I think, 2009 is a nice start for this. Moreover, Cinema Bizarre's territory will be a little broadened. (grins)
Shin: I will beat the drums into my brain and straighten my hair to death with my straightener even more. (laughs)
Yu: I am, once again, aiming high and will, as in 2008, hopefully be able to make it all.
Kiro: All I want is to enjoy this year! Travel many places and have tons of fun!

And what was the best Christmas present you got?
Yu: A wonderful evening...
Shin: A new suitcase because we will be out and about again soon, and I can sit on this suitcase and roll around on the airport. (grins)
Strify: Actually, this year I was glad that Christmas was over so soon. Hm, but a present from a fan in Florence was unique indeed. A little sculpture made of plastic that had been professionally painted and looked like I. Now I can finally play with myself. (laughs)
Kiro: I was happy about everything! What I always like in particular is to get to spend time with my family and to enjoy the delicious food!

Let's talk some more about last year: What person left the greatest impact on you?
Strify: Lady GaGa. I got a demo version of her album in Paris in June and fell in love at once. The album is great and she's an incredibly talented woman. Then, when I first spotted the video to Just Dance, it swept me off my feet. I'm sure Lady GaGa will make it big, and a collaboration of her and Cinema Bizarre is a dream that had already formed in 2008. (grins)
Yu: -miyavi-.
Kiro: That's something I cannot answer or, rather, there were so many people who impressed me! I cannot give a specific name! I find Lady GaGa very interesting, for example, she makes great music!
Shin: That's a difficult question... We met so many interesting persons, I cannot really tie myself down.

And who would you call the dork of the year 2008?
Yu: Amy Winehouse?
Kiro: There are quite a few dorks! But I cannot think of anybody off the top of my head!
Shin: Shin. (laughs)
Strify: Definitely Sarah Palin. If even a person like I, who is non-political and therefore setting a bad example, realises the lack of know how of this woman who wanted to accept such important office, it's beyond question who the dork is. What I've got to hand to her though: She was really entertaining.

What was your film of the year?
Kiro: Amongst others, I found the film Blindness well worth seeing!
Shin: WALL-E! I've been at the cinema a lot this year, but somehow I forgot about most of the films...
Yu: Wanted, amazing film, great scenes, good message and as if it had been made for a man. (laughs)
Strify: Most Hollywood blockbusters you get to see are only made for the big screen. Of the films I saw at the cinema, Batman – The Dark Knight was one to leave a lasting impression on me, surely also due to the Heath Ledger-myth surrounding this film.

Actress of the year?
Yu: Angelina Jolie.
Strify: I'm a big fan of Scarlett Johansson in general. Next year, the film adaptation of The Readerstarring Kate Winslet will be in theatres and I really look forward to it. Oh, and only recently I saw the 80s film Death Becomes Her and thought Meryl Streep was brilliant.
Kiro: I think Katharine Isabelle is a great actress!
Shin: Angelina Jolie.

And actor of the year?
Yu: Johnny Depp.
Shin: WALL-E.
Strify: Heath Ledger. I've been a great fan ever since 10 Things I Hate About You. And as cruel as it may sound, death is still what makes you most famous. Even more so when your last performance is as brilliant as his as Joker. Sad but true. But that's how he will live on.
Kiro: None in particular.

What's the nicest sentence someone said about you in 2008?
Strify: Sometimes it's not what is said to you that's important but rather who says it.
Shin: "You are the most stupid person I know", by Strify... (grins)
Kiro: Many great sentences were said in the year 2008; it is, for example, nice to hear when people tell us how much we developed. That is, or so do I think, a very nice compliment!

On December 1st, there was Strify in your Online Advent Calendar singing a part of "Modern Lover" at the studio. Is this the title of a song from your upcoming album?
Kiro: Everything has its meaning and ulterior motives! (laughs)
Strify: Yes, as you can easily recognise, the song is called Modern Lover. Only yesterday, we decided that it will end up on the album. We're takin' love to a new dimension.

On December 24, there was the new song It's Over in your Advent Calendar. A beautiful ballad. Where did the inspiration for this song come from?
Strify: This song was one of the first we recorded for the album at the end of summer last year. It will most probably not make it on the album regularly, but before we get going again for real in spring, we wanted to present our fans with something special to thank them for their lasting loyalty.
Kiro: We thought it a nice idea to release this particular song on Christmas as "thanks" to all our fans! And in order to make their holiday season. (grins) Furthermore, it's a topic practically everyone can relate to!

Are you finished recording the album now?
Kiro: No, not yet, but it won't take that long anymore!
Yu: We're still working on it; wait and then play! (laughs)
Strify: By now, we're at the final stage and want to be finished by the end of January. At the moment, we're busy deciding about the artwork and I'm recording my last parts.
Shin: Not yet, but very soon. Strify and I are recording our last parts at the moment.

Congratulations to the "European Border Breakers Award", an award that, for example, Wir sind Helden or Juli have won before. How do you feel and what does this award mean to you?
Shin: That's our first award, and we're very proud it's such a big European one... and then from the European Union, too! (grins)
Yu: I think it's great! To receive the award for best-selling debut album outside your home country is awesome and I'm very proud of it! (grins!
Kiro Thanks a lot! This award means a lot to me, it's a great honour for me and we're happy about it! It's just wonderful feedback! We owe it to our fans throughout Europe!
Strify: A prize from the European Committee is something completely different than a prize from a music channel or the like... and that is, at any rate, a great acknowledgement of what we did the last two years. A nice completion of the first album, proof that it was all worthwhile and a thanks to everybody who believed in us and who we've been working with.

Please comment on Luminor's departure...
Kiro: It's very tragic and we will fight on! We had a very nice time with Luminor that I'll never forget!
Strify: Sometimes people go their separate ways even if they once believed they would never do so. But everybody has his own path to walk even though you may share it with someone else. You can try to stick to it or you can walk on and take the best with you. I believe that the latter is the only thing that helps you grow. After all, you only have this one life and don't know if there is anything before or after it. But even if your ways separate, nobody should ever lose sight of his/her ambitions.
Shin: To start with, Luminor will take the time he needs to get better. We all hope he will feel better soon. He will always be a part of Cinema Bizarre. It's all very very sad how it happened but we cannot do anything but respect his decision.

2009 will be a great year because...
Kiro: ...I know. (laughs)
Strify: ...there will be toys for everybody! Do you wanna play?
